Wednesday October 8th..The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli’s Western Championship is back in action for its final standalone event of 2025, a doubleheader at Thunderhill Raceway Park. The Western Championship has been visiting the Willows, California track since 2019, with the checkered flag flying for seven previous features at the venue. Only one race, a combination event with the National Championship at Circuit of The Americas, remains on the schedule after Thunderhill, meaning this weekend’s pair of races will set the stage for the championship battles.

Wednesday October 8th..Steve Phillips, who earned 19 career wins as a USAC National Sprint Car team owner for drivers Dave Darland and Jason McDougal between 2013-2019, passed away on October 4, 2025. He was 70 years old.

Championship Battles Tight in Both GS, TCR Heading to Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta 

Monday October 6th..Respective three-way title tilts in both classes headline what should be another frantic finale to the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season, the Fox Factory 120 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Just 120 points cover the top three contenders in Grand Sport (GS), while only 70 points do so in Touring Car (TCR).


Champions, Contenders, and Rising Stars Set to Battle in the 54th Winchester 400

Monday October 6th..A total of 26 drivers are officially entered for the 54th running of the Winchester 400 presented by Vore’s Welding and Steel, set for this Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Winchester Speedway. The crown jewel event, sanctioned by the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour, will once again feature some of short track racing’s biggest names, rising stars, and national champions all chasing one of the most coveted victories in asphalt short track racing.

Joey Logano continues title defense after tense elimination battle with Ross Chastain

 Monday October 6th..The final 2025 Playoff transfer position literally came down to the last corner of the final lap of competition in Sunday’s Bank of America ROVAL 400 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course – pitting one of the most exciting drivers in the sport, Ross Chastain, against the reigning series champion Joey Logano for that last position to move forward with title eligibility.

Shane van Gisbergen wins at Roval; Joey Logano advances in Playoffs

 Sunday October 5th...As expected, road course maven Shane van Gisbergen won Sunday’s Bank of America Roval 400, but that was only a small part of the story at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course.

 Long after van Gisbergen took the checkered flag to record his fifth straight road course victory of the NASCAR Cup Series season, Ross Chastain made a banzai run in the frontstretch chicane and wiped out Denny Hamlin’s Toyota in a desperate attempt to secure the final spot in the Playoffs’ Round of 8.


Majeski Takes His Fifth Oktoberfest 200 at La Crosse


 

Sunday October 5th..Ty Majeski tied Joe Shear by winning his fifth ASA Midwest Tour Oktoberfest 200 at the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway in West Salem, WI.


Casey Johnson finished third to claim his fourth ASAMT championship. 


Majeski got by Andrew Morrissey on lap 144 and pulled away to the checkered flag. 

 

This is his fifth Oktoberfest victory in the last nine years after he picked up his first victory in 2016.


Connor Zilisch gets 10th win, as all four JR Motorsports drivers advance in Playoffs

Saturday October 4th...It was another routine victory for NASCAR Xfinity Series rookie phenom Connor Zilisch, who hit double digits with his 10th win of the season.
Behind Zilisch, it was a chaotic scramble for the remaining five berths in the Round of 8 of the series Playoffs.

Saturday October 4th...jonathan Davenport repeated his performance from a year ago by leading all 70 laps to win the 37th Annual Pittsburgher Saturday night at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, earning $50,000.


 Aaron Reutzel Reigns as Hawkeye Nationals Champion with POWRi 410 Outlaw Sprints

Saturday October 4th...Aaron Reutzel would improve one spot from last night’s runner-up to run away with Saturday’s main event with the POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League in Night Two of the Hawkeye Nationals presented by Start2Finish TV to notch his second seasonal league victory and earn the hard-fought feature victory at Lee County Speedway.

 Saturday October 4th...tyler Reddick picked an ideal time to regain his form at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course.

With a lap at 95.510 mph (85.939 seconds), Reddick edged three-time Australian Supercars champion Shane van Gisbergen for the pole position in Sunday’s Bank of America Roval 400 (3 p.m. ET on USA, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).


The Pennsylvanian gets by Carson Macedo late and holds off the legendary Lance Dewease for his first Series win.
