Carson Kvapil Triumphs at the Brickyard for His First Career Win in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series

  Saturday July 25th -  carson Kvapil chose the perfect time to claim his first victory in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.

Kvapil’s emotional victory in Saturday’s Pennzoil 250 presented by Take 5 Oil Change at Indianapolis Motor Speedway—one of the biggest stages in motorsports—had the driver shedding tears and team co-owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. temporarily at a loss for words.

Saturday July 25th -  Saturday night couldn’t have started much worse for Sheldon Haudenschild at Weedsport Speedway.

He’s proven to be one of the best qualifiers since climbing aboard the KCP Racing No. 18 this season, but Haudenschild timed in 16th of 21 cars in his flight. Overcoming a subpar Qualifying effort at the elite level of Sprint Car racing is tough to pull off, but Haudenschild is known to pull off uncommon feats from time to time.

Sheppard Becomes Four-Time Prairie Dirt Classic Champion at Fairbury

 Saturday July 25th - It’s starting to feel like old times again for Rocket1 Racing and Brandon Sheppard.

The most dominant pairing in the history of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision won 71 races and four championships in an incredible five-year stretch from 2017 to 2021. After going their separate ways for two seasons before reuniting in 2025, nights like Saturday prove that Sheppard and Mark Richards still have a lot left in the tank.

Sam Hafertepe Jr. Becomes First Three-Time Winner of Steve King Memorial at Dodge City

 Saturday July 25th - Sam Hafertepe Jr. remains the biggest threat to win with the American Sprint Car Series at Dodge City Raceway Park.

The Series points leader enjoyed a near-perfect night in the Steve King Memorial with a hard-working effort for his third victory of the 2026 season and his fourth consecutive triumph at the 3/8-mile track.

 

Cole Falloway Dominates at Fairbury to Win Modified Prairie Dirt Classic

 Saturday July 25th - Cole Falloway has already won several big races in his young career. But there was one on his bucket list that he had been eying since becoming one of the top DIRTcar UMP Modified drivers in the nation — the Prairie Dirt Classic.

 

On Saturday night, the 23-year-old Kentucky native punched through to Victory Lane on Fairbury Speedway’s biggest stage of the year, leading all 40 circuits around the iconic Illinois 1/4-mile racetrack to bank the $5,000 check and his fifth career DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals Feature win.

RIDE OF THE ROCKET: Richard Murtaugh Wins at Fulton, Clinches DIRTcar Sportsman Series Central Region Title

 Saturday July 25th - With a chance to close out the DIRTcar Sportsman Series Central Region championship in front of him, Richard Murtaugh made the most of his opportunity.

The Fulton, NY driver wrestled the lead from Dan Ferguson on Lap 3 and held off Taylor Wason to win Saturday’s finale at Fulton Speedway.

 Saturday July 25th - Standing on pit wall as Denny Hamlin completed his qualifying lap at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Carson Hocevar raised his arms in exultation and turned to hug Spire Motorsports teammate Daniel Suarez.

Hocevar knew at that moment that Saturday’s time trials at the historic 2.5-mile oval would not be a repeat of Michigan in June, when Hamlin, as the final qualifier, knocked Hocevar off the provisional pole at the 23-year-old’s home track.

The Princeton, Indiana native continued that tear on Friday night during round two of ISW at Putnamville’s Lincoln Park Speedway as he led the entire 30-lap distance in a thorough and decisive beatdown on the 5/16-mile dirt oval to earn the $10,000 check.

 friday July 24th -With a performance just a hair short of perfection, Layne Riggs dominated Friday night’s TSport 200 presented by Warn Industries and moved tantalizingly close to the regular-season championship in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series.

 The driver of the No. 34 Front Row Motorsports Ford led 198 of 200 laps, swept both stages and took the checkered flag 1.148 seconds ahead of persistent runner-up Connor Mosack to claim his second straight victory at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.

Thrilling on-track excitement with thirty-one talented entries in the POWRi National and West Midgets would find Zach Daum start the action off with quick time in qualifying in a 12.587-second lap as Colton Robinson, Kyle Jones, Kale Drake, and Cooper Miller would each notch the heat racing wins with Jonathan Beason taking the semi-feature victory.

friday July 24th -Sixteen drivers have punched their tickets into one of the biggest DIRTcar UMP Modified races of the season and are ready to battle for a $5,000 grand prize.

 

Friday night of the 36th annual Prairie Dirt Classic for the DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals brought Tyler Nicely, Mike McKinney, Ricky Thornton Jr. and Trevor Neville to Fairbury Speedway Victory Lane in the four Showdown Features. The top four finishers in each of the 15-lap events transferred to Saturday’s main event, and the top two in each will redraw during opening ceremonies for their starting spots in the main event.

Thursday July 23rd - Drew Sherman held steady on the high line to earn his first career feature victory with the POWRi National and West Midget Leagues at I-44 Speedway during Night Two of POWRi Sooner SPEEDWeek, leading 29 of the 30 feature laps.

Wednesday July 22nd - David Gravel may just be unstoppable at Ohsweken Speedway.

The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars returned to the Canadian track last season after eight years away, and Gravel and the Big Game Motorsports group dominated by sweeping both nights. Other competitors led both Features, but each time Gravel patiently worked his way to the front for the win.

 Wednesday July 22nd -After breaking a two-year Super DIRTcar Series winless drought earlier this year, Jimmy Phelps only needed to wait two weeks for another.

The Baldwinsville, NY driver stormed past Peter Britten on the race’s opening lap and never looked back to win Wednesday’s Thunder in the Adirondacks at Airborne Park Speedway.

 

Richard Murtaugh Powers to Land of Legends Win; Cody McPherson Claims West Region Title

Wednesday July 22nd - Land of Legends Raceway brought a DIRTcar Sportsman Series thrill ride to Ontario County Fair Wednesday night, handing out a $1,000 check and a championship.

The event set up a Central Region versus West Region duel with 31 cars lining up for the 30-lap Feature.

Ryder McCutcheon Victorious with POWRi National and West Midget Leagues at Creek County Speedway

Wednesday July 22nd - Ryder McCutcheon made an unforgettable debut, earning his first career feature victory with the POWRi National and West Midget Leagues on Night One of POWRi Sooner SpeedWeek at Creek County Speedway after leading 13 of the 30 feature laps.

 

A talented field of 26 POWRi National and West Midget entries opened the night with Drake Edwards setting a new track record in group qualifying with a lap of 13.116 seconds. Cullen Hutchison, Kale Drake, and Kyle Jones each captured heat race victories, while Andrew Felker claimed the semi-feature win.

Joey Logano dominates return to points racing at North Wilkesboro

Sunday July 19th Joey Logano had a gleam in his eye and a lilt in his voice as he readied to climb into the No. 22 Team Penske Ford for the start of Sunday night’s Window World 450.

“I think we have a fast car,” Logano opined optimistically before taking the green flag in the first NASCAR Cup Series points race at North Wilkesboro Speedway in 30 years.

Sunday July 19th  Matteo Nannini earned his second victory of the INDY NXT by Firestone season in the Music City Grand Prix on Sunday at Nashville Superspeedway, and this one meant much more than his first.

Pole sitter Nannini led a 1-2 finish for Cape Motorsports Powered by ECR, driving his No. 20 Enve Motorsports car to a 5.6449-second victory over teammate Nikita Johnson in the No. 21 machine. It was his third career victory in the INDYCAR development series and the first 1-2 finish ever for the longtime junior formula standout Cape team in INDY NXT competition.

Sunday July 19th - A downpour swept through Middle Tennessee on Sunday evening, ending track drying at Nashville Superspeedway from earlier storms and forcing the postponement of the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix presented by OnlyBulls to 3 p.m. ET Monday, July 20.

FOX, FOX One and INDYCAR Radio powered by OnlyBulls will broadcast the 300-lap race NTT INDYCAR SERIES race live.

 Sunday July 19th - Funny Car newcomer Jordan Vandergriff won for the second time this season for John Force Racing in front of a sellout crowd on Sunday at Sonoma Raceway, defeating Daniel Wilkerson in the final round of the Denso NHRA Sonoma Nationals presented by PowerEdge.


 

Doug Kalitta (Top Fuel) and Greg Stanfield (Pro Stock) also won at the 11th of 20 races during the 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season as NHRA celebrated three straight days of sellout crowds at the standout facility.
