Saturday August 16th..Jonathan Davenport took the lead on lap 38 when race leader Brandon Sheppard, who had led the first 37 laps, slowed with a flat tire. Davenport then led the remaining 61 laps to win his second career Nutrien Ag Solutions Topless 100 presented by Big River Steel on Saturday night at Batesville Motor Speedway.

Shane Van Gisbergen claimed his fourth NASCAR Cup Series road course victory of the season Sunday afternoon and second win of more than 10-seconds on the field … and he made it look effortless.

The 36-year-old New Zealander led a race-best 38 of 90 laps - including the final 17 - at the historic Watkins Glen International in picturesque upstate New York, his No. 88 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet officially crossing the finish line by 11.116-seconds ahead of Joe Gibbs Racing’s Christopher Bell.

After 20 years competing at Evergreen Speedway, Formula DRIFT listened to the drivers and decided to widen the course through Outer Zones 2 and 3. The aim was to allow the drivers to draw a smoother arc, maintaining momentum and improving the spectacle. Following Friday practice and Seeding Bracket, overnight changes refined the transition and brought the finish line slightly closer, resulting in high-speed action and plenty of drama for Formula DRIFT PRO Championship Round 6: Throwdown from Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA.

The Midget Auto Racing Association saw cars from four states sign in for a night of racing at Coles County Speedway in Mattoon, Illinois. The field boasted former feature winners in MARA action and at least two former midget racing champions. In the end it was Alex Midkiff who would top them all.

VRD Racing’s Teddy Musella claimed his second USF2000 Presented by Continental Tire victory in this evening’s season finale at Portland International Raceway. Musella, from Orlando, Fla., took the lead when Exclusive Autosport’s Jack Jeffers, from San Antonio, Texas, was obliged to give up the position per a call from Race Control.

Max Garcia finished the USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire season in the best possible way with a pair of victories for Pabst Racing in the Continental Tire Grand Prix of Portland doubleheader. After clinching the championship – and a scholarship to move up to INDY NXT in 2026 – last month in Toronto, the youngster from Coconut Grove, Fla., today equaled the record for the number of wins in a single season, nine, established by current NTT INDYCAR SERIES star Kyle Kirkwood in 2019.


 

Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, Illinois, moved from the 14th starting spot to win the 43rd Annual Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 presented by Lucas Oil on Saturday night at Florence Speedway. Pierce earned $75,000 for the victory.

It was as hard-earned a victory as the 19-year old Connor Zilisch has claimed in his brief NASCAR career – answering his win from pole position a year ago in his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at the historic Watkins Glen International road course with a second consecutive victory Saturday afternoon in a crash-heavy Mission 200 at The Glen.

As Zilisch climbed out of the cockpit and onto the door ledge of his No. 88 JR Motorsports Chevrolet to celebrate his series-best sixth trophy of the season, he slipped and fell to the ground. Medical teams arrived immediately to tend to him and transported him on a backboard to the trackside medical center.

Ryan Litt made Berlin Raceway his personal summertime playground yet again Saturday night, authoring another dominant performance with the Must See Racing Perfit Sprint Car Series.

Litt stormed from third to first in less than two laps at the seven-sixteenths-mile oval and never looked back, leading 29 of 30 circuits for his second Must See Racing victory of the season and the sixth of his career.

Jack Jeffers drove an exemplary race this afternoon at Portland International Raceway to clinch the USF2000 Presented by Continental Tire title with one race remaining on the season. Jeffers, a 19-year-old rookie from San Antonio, Texas, led from flag to flag for Exclusive Autosport for his sixth victory.

  Zanella Racing teammates Leonardo Escorpioni and Ty Fisher claimed a victory apiece in today’s pair of chaotic races that concluded the Continental Tire Grand Prix of Portland and the USF Juniors Presented by Continental Tire season. Escorpioni’s triumph in the opening race was enough to clinch the championship, while Zanella also tied up the Teams Championship by a comfortable margin.


 

What a difference a year has made for Arrow McLaren at Portland International Raceway.

Arrow McLaren teammates Christian Lundgaard and Pato O’Ward produced the two quickest laps, respectively, during the Firestone Fast Six qualifying session Saturday for the BITNILE.COM Grand Prix of Portland presented by askROI. A year ago at this event, the top two qualifiers for the team were Alexander Rossi in 18th and O’Ward in 23rd.

Ryan Blaney claimed his second Busch Light Pole Award of the season Saturday afternoon at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International – his second of the season, 15th of his career and second ever on a road course.

Collet continued his persistent pursuit of championship leader Dennis Hauger by winning the Firestone P1 Award Saturday for the INDY NXT by Firestone Grand Prix of Portland at Portland International Raceway. It was Collet’s third pole of the season – all in the last three races – and his fourth career pole in the INDYCAR development series.

Friday night, with a full moon in the sky, the only thing that was going to keep Dunham for finding Victory Lane with the MacAllister CAT Great Lakes Super Sprints Presented by PERFIT & ARP, was himself.


FORMULA DRIFT SEATTLE PRO CHAMPIONSHIP SEEDING BRACKET QUALIFYING RESULTS

 

Friday August 8TH...In the Type S PRO Seeding Bracket, the first 20 competition places were secured by ranking achieved at the previous Round. The 12 remaining competition places were decided by the Top 16 Seeding Bracket qualification. But with a full field of 16 drivers, four would unfortunately be eliminated

Friday August 8TH...Leonardo Escorpioni took another step toward winning the USF Juniors Presented by Continental Tire championship with a flag-to-flag victory in today’s 14th of 16 rounds – and the first of three races which will conclude the season in the Continental Tire Grand Prix of Portland. The Florida-based Brazilian survived an early scare when the majority of the 21-car field was involved in an incident at the first corner during a wild restart, then edged clear after the ensuing restart to secure his fifth race win of the season for Zanella Racing.


 

Friday August 8TH...Christian Lundgaard led the opening practice Friday for the BITNILE.COM Grand Prix of Portland presented by askROI, edging by a sliver the driver that all eyes are following this weekend – Alex Palou.


 Friday August 8TH...It looks like Dennis Hauger is ready to right the title ship.

Hauger led the opening practice for the INDY NXT by Firestone Grand Prix of Portland on Friday with a top lap of 1 minute, 2.8638 seconds in the No. 28 Nammo car fielded by Andretti Global. That was more than six-tenths of a second quicker than his closest pursuer, teammate Lochie Hughes, whose best lap was 1:03.5003 in the No. 26 McGinley Clinic/USF Pro Championship machine


Thursday August 7th...Garrett Alberson and Daulton Wilson both started from the third position and went on to win their 25-lap main events on Thursday night at Florence Speedway, kicking off the Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 presented by Lucas Oil weekend.

Sunday August 3rd...An extraordinary spat of cautions in Sunday’s Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol allowed William Byron to save an extraordinary amount of fuel, and that proved the difference in Byron’s second victory of the season and first since the DAYTONA 500.

 Squeezing 144 laps out of his fuel cell at an Iowa Speedway track where the fuel window is roughly 100 laps, Byron crossed the finish line ahead of a trio of pursuers—pole winner Chase Briscoe, first and second stage winner Brad Keselowski and defending race winner Ryan Blaney—all on different strategies.

Rebounding from a penalty in yesterday’s Race 1, the Chilean was victorious in Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) Race 2. Starting on pole, the 17 year old held off the advances of his competition and endured multiple restarts en route to the checkered flag, marking his fourth win of the 2025 race season.

Saturday August 2nd.. Bruno Ribeiro took his third win of the 2025 Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) season in the opening round of the New Jersey Lottery SpeedTour weekend. In a wild race filled with obstacles and challenges for championship contenders, Ribeiro (No. 01 Alfa Cem / Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) rose to the top to increase his lead in the standings.

Saturday August 2nd..Big track, road course or short track—Chase Briscoe has shown blistering speed in his first season in the No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota on all sorts of venues.

 On Saturday at Iowa Speedway, a 0.875-mile short track, Briscoe won his sixth pole of the season with a lap at 136.933 mph (23.004 seconds) to earn the top starting spot in Sunday’s Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol (3:30 p.m. ET on USA, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
